The Yankees’ season ended “ too early” as most fans would say. People expected them to make it to the World Series and bring the trophy to New York. But they fell short, losing three games to one in the American League Championship Series. Fans will expect a world series win. And during the off-season, they have a lot of decisions to make. Do they go and sign Manny Machado, Bryce Harper, or any other big free agent? The Yankees 2019 season will be the earliest that it’s ever been, with a home game against the Baltimore Orioles on March 28th.

Let’s talk about the Mets. They also had a disappointing season, finished 4th in the National League East and missed the playoffs for the twelfth straight year. Injuries hurt them in a way, but right now they just don’t have the talent a baseball team needs to be winning a playoff game. Their captain, David Wright, retired after 14 years, with the Mets. He ended his career with 1,777 hits 242 home runs and 970 RBIs. The Mets come into the 2019-2020 season Brodie Van Wagenen as the new General Manager. The Mets will also be starting their season on March 28th against the Washington Nationals.
