Starting off in the East, the #1 seed Miami Heat faced off against the #4 seed Philadelphia 76ers. Sixers big man Joel Embiid, who was robbed of an MVP award, played the whole series with an injured thumb and eye.

This made it quite easy for the Heat, as they won the series 4-2. Led by Jimmy Butler, The Heat will face off against the #2 seed Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

The Celtics went up against the defending champion #3 seed Milwaukee Bucks. The Celtics, led by Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, won in seven games against the Bucks. Missing all-star Kris Middleton, The Bucks put up a good fight but were outplayed in game 7.

This led many to believe that Kris Middleton is the real leader and Giannis Antetokoumnpo is the sidekick, since Middleton did not play in the series due to injury and the Bucks lost.

Next, the #1 seed Phoenix Suns played the #4 seed Dallas Mavericks over towards the West. The Mavericks began the series down 2-0, but they came back to win the series 4-3. The Suns lost in the Finals last year but were heavily favored this year.

The real story, however, came in game 7 when the Suns got obliterated by a score of 123-90. Chris Paul (pg) and Devin Booker (sg) both had historically bad games, putting up a combined 21 points. Dallas, led by young superstar Luka Doncic, completely embarrassed the Suns and made Paul lose his fourth game 7 in a row.

Finally, we have the #3 seed Golden State Warriors and the #2 seed Memphis Grizzlies. Although the Warriors ended up winning this series 4-2, they had to cheat the system to do so.

On a controversial play in game 3, Warriors guard Jordan Poole grabbed superstar guard Ja Morant by the knee, causing Morant to miss the rest of the series. The Warriors knew they couldn’t win fairly, so they resorted to cheating and threatened the health and safety of an opposing player.
