What You’ll Need:

-Tart apples

-Brown sugar

-Cinnamon

-Butter

Directions:

  • The first step is to preheat your oven to 375°F.
  • Wash and core your apples, leaving about ½ an inch at the bottom.
  • To prevent the apples from splitting, peel some of the skin from around the middle of each apple. Then put them in an oven safe baking dish.
  • Place about a tablespoon of brown sugar, ⅛ of a teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of butter in each apple. If desired, sprinkle on more cinnamon to add some spice.
  • Fill your baking dish about a fourth of the way with water.
  • The final step to achieve your delicious baked treat is to stick it in the oven for 30-40 minutes. The apples should be tender and absolutely delicious! Enjoy!
