The Northport High School Orchestra is always thinking of fun ways to get Northport students and parents involved in orchestra activities. On Tuesday, October 24th at 6:30 P.M., kids from any elementary school can come and watch the orchestra play in the third annual Halloween Spooktacular. Not only that, kids will be able to roam around the commons, as there will be fun Halloween-themed games and face painting. There will even be opportunities to buy orchestra apparel!
Feel free to come with your Halloween costume on! The conductor and Orchestra players will be wearing funny costumes all for your amusement. Halloween is a perfect way to bring everyone together and have a good time. The Orchestra even gets fundraising out of it for their huge trip!
As previously stated, the main reason for this fundraiser is to cut down on prices for the NHS Orchestra’s Paris trip, which is happening during the summer of 2024. As you may assume, the orchestra is trying to raise money in various ways to cut down the cost of this trip.
The orchestra will be making a profit from donations and raffles at the Spooktacular. They want more people to come and support the orchestra to make this a big event that they can do every year to bring joy to the community. This performance is also a way to educate kids on orchestras and music while inspiring them to join their school’s orchestra.
Remember to tell your family and friends to support the Northport High School Orchestra on October 24th by coming to the Halloween Spooktacular! It will be a spooky, fun, and educational time for all!
