In the past couple of years, we have not experienced too much of this white wonder we call snow. But hopefully, this year that changes, if we get enough snow to sled and have snowball fights, it would be a blast!
Although people may not like snow because it gets too cold or the snow gets in the way of everyday tasks, others love it. And that’s why I state my question, “Will we get snow this year?”
The end of fall is November 30th, the day before Thanksgiving. This day is the day when everyone starts to get ready for winter and get ready for the big feast the next day. Years ago it used to snow on Thanksgiving or the day after frequently. But now, because of global warming, the snow hasn’t been present as early as usual or at all.
This Thanksgiving, it was approximately 42 degrees Fahrenheit, unfortunately nowhere near snowing temperatures.
This December is foreseen to reach a high of 43 degrees and a low of 31 degrees, as well as 8 days of rain that may or may not lead to hail, sleet, or snow.
For Christmas, the best feeling is when you’re hanging out with your family, opening gifts, eating dinner, and having a white setting outside. This year on Christmas, it is said to be a low of 39 degrees with a partly cloudy setting. So it may not show this Christmas, but it will most likely snow throughout the whole winter. Let’s keep high hopes!
