We are already in Week 15 of the NFL season! It seems like it was just week one on Thursday night kickoff. But this past Thursday night, we saw the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers play each other. We all thought this wasn’t going to be a good game with a low amount of points scored. But Las Vegas thought otherwise. At the end of the first half, Las Vegas scored 42 points to LA’s none. That’s the biggest lead at the half in Raiders history. At the end of the game, the final score was 63-21 Las Vegas, as they fell just nine points short of NFL history for most points scored in a game.
We also have Saturday games now, and the most exciting game was the night match, the Denver Broncos and the Detroit Lions, who are both really good teams. However, the Lions easily won, 42-17. This followed the Lions losing to a team that they should have beat, the Chicago Bears. Last week, the Broncos beat the Chargers 24-7. Again, the Chargers got punched in the mouth.
A very important Sunday game was the New York Jets playing the Miami Dolphins. The Dolphins are one of the best teams in the NFL, and the last time these two teams played it was Black Friday. The final score was 34-13 Dolphins. But last week, the Jets pulled off of a huge win against the Texans, 30-6! Zach Wilson threw over 300 yards passing. The Dolphins came off an embarrassing loss over the Tennessee Titans. However, Miami bounced back, crushing the Jets by a score of 30-0.
The most interesting 4:30 game was supposed to be the Dallas Cowboys against the Buffalo Bills. Personally, I think that the Cowboys are the best team in the league right now, having just beat the former best team, the Philadelphia Eagles. The Bills beat the former Super Bowl champs, the Kansas City Chiefs, thanks to an offsides call against Kansas City. The Cowboys should have won this one, but fell by a score of 31-10.
The Sunday night game was the Baltimore Ravens and the Jacksonville Jaguars. These are two hot teams but the Jaguars are not playing so well right now. They lost their top receiver, Christian Kirk, to an injury and lost against the Browns last week. This continued into Week 15, with Baltimore winning 23-7. The Monday night football game is the Seattle Seahawks and the Philadelphia Eagles. They both lost last week and the Seahawks are my pick to win. The Eagles don’t seem like themselves right now, so the Seahawks could pull off an upset.
