Picture this: you’re on the bus ride home from a long day at high school. You get off the bus and by the time you get home, your stomach is growling. You’re starving, and the fact that you had lunch fourth period isn’t helping.
As you sit down to do your homework you suddenly get the craving for a warm panini. The only problem is, you don’t have a panini press. What you probably have is a waffle maker. Now I don’t know about you but I’ve always wondered whether or not you could make a panini in a Waffle Maker, turns out you can!
The ingredients for a Panaffle include:
-Bread
-Cheese (optional)
-Meat (optional)
-Lettuce (optional)
-Tomato (optional)
-Sauce (optional)
-More Cheese (optional)
-Peppertoni (optional)
-Anything else you want to add (optional)
The things you need to use to make the Panaffles:
-Waffle Maker
–The Ingredients
-A Plate
-Oven Mitts (optional)
The Steps
1. Get all the ingredients and things you need to make the Panaffles
2. Plug in/turn on your waffle maker
3. Assemble an open-faced sandwich with your ingredients (keep your ingredients in the center of the bred in order to not do a spillover)
4. Put the open-face sandwich on the hot waffle maker
5 . Add the other top piece of bread to the open-faced sandwich on the waffle maker.
6. Press down on the closed waffle maker for 1-2 mins or until you feel like stopping (try not to burn yourself)
7. Take the Panaffle off the waffle maker and enjoy!
