Located at 297 Clay Pitts Road in East Northport, Filettos is a pizzeria and restaurant where you can get an authentic Italian-American dining experience. From its service to its food, Filetto’s is a great place to eat and relax any day of the week. Outlined below are my thoughts on a recent dining experiences I had at Filetto’s.
Menu:
There are a lot of options to choose from on the Filetto’s menu. My family and I typically go to the pasta category, where there are numerous pasta dishes, ranging from Fettuccine Alfredo to Penne Alla Vodka.
However, if you order an item off the Entree portion of the menu, with items ranging from Chicken Parmesan to Eggplant Rollatini, you also receive a side of pasta, salad, or potatoes with your meal. Since the portions are large, you are able to have leftovers for the next day!
There are also many appetizers to choose from. I recommend ordering the mozzarella sticks, as I have been satisfied every time I get them. If you are not a big fan of pastas, I recommend ordering a personal-sized pizza, as you can get six slices of a pizza of your choice.
Pricing:
The pricing at Filetto’s is very reasonable anytime you go there. Nonetheless, the restaurant has specials during the week. My favorite is Pasta Night, which typically takes place on Mondays and Tuesdays. You can get a pasta entree with a house or caesar salad, as well as a desert for a discounted price.
If you are not looking for a full dinner, Filetto’s offers individual slices of pizza any time of the day, which range anywhere from $3.15 – $5.40, and are in the perfect price range for students!
Speed:
The service at the restaurant is very good, especially on an off-peak day and time. This would be great for lunch leave, as seniors can order pizza or pasta and it will most likely be ready within 20-30 minutes. You may not have time to sit down and eat during lunch leave, but when eating there for dinner, the speed of the staff is great and I have always had a good experience.
Overall Experience:
Overall, I really enjoy my time at Filetto’s whenever I go there. The service is great – you always get your food in a timely manner. In addition, Filetto’s doesn’t just have great staff, but also offers entries and other services. When I went to the restaurant one Saturday night, there was a man singing music from the 1940s to the customers as we were eating, which was a very cool and relaxing experience.
Filetto’s also gives bread as an appetizer to its tables. The bread is delicious and is absolutely one of my favorite aspects when going here. I love Filetto’s because of its service, and also because of all its delicious food every time I go there.
