With summer just around the corner, many of us will be going to Crab Meadow Beach in Northport to relax and spend time with friends and family. Lucky for us, our local beach has a restaurant right on the sand. La Casa Cafe is located at 445 Waterside Avenue and offers great Italian food along with stunning views of the beach.
Menu:
There are many options on La Casa’s menu. La Casa offers an abundance of seafood options, such as clams, shrimp, and mussels. However, you can still get traditional Italian food, such as chicken franchises, pasta with meatballs, and pizza. There is also a kid’s menu, which makes La Casa perfect for families. I recommend ordering the Homemade Mozzarella Sticks as appetizers. You do not need to order directly from the menu, as you can mix and match your entree if you ask the wait staff.
Pricing:
La Casa is a little pricey, but if you are looking for a cheaper option, many beachgoers use the outdoor cafe to order pizza and ice cream. This is very convenient as you can eat on the beach when you get your food. Overall, either going into the restaurant or the outdoor cafe, pricing for La Case is relatively fair.
Speed:
Especially for the outdoor cafe, I find that the speed of the staff is very reliable. Whenever I order pizza from the outdoor cafe, I get my food within 15 minutes. And if you order ice cream, it is right out of the freezer. Inside, as with any restaurant, it takes a little longer to get your food but compared to other restaurants, La Casa is definitely quick.
Overall Experience:
I go to Crab Meadow Beach numerous times during the summer, and I always love to order food from La Casa because it is always delicious and so convenient. With La Casa, you can get beautiful views of the beach while you are eating. And if you go at sunset or at night, the views are even more gorgeous. The environment at the restaurant and on the beach makes for a very nice dining experience. I always love La Casa every time I go there because I can relax and eat a good meal all while I am at the beach.
