After the last excruciating week of school, winter break is here! And if a day off of school isn’t worth celebrating in itself, this season is when some of the best holidays happen. Time with family and friends, gift-giving, and warm fires can brighten up the coldest of Decembers. Did you know the first night of Channukah and Christmas Day line up?
And everyone celebrates a little differently. I asked the people behind Port Press what they were up to.
August Frischman, a Correspondent, is going to North Carolina to visit family. He said, “[Winter break] is a nice break from school and it’s great to see family that you haven’t seen in a while.”
Lily Eagen, our Managing Editor, is going to Montreal to ski.
Charlotte Stuertz, a Freelancer, is excited to stay home. “I’m happy that I get to spend time with my family and that I don’t have to wake up at 6:00 in the morning. Doing nothing is good.”
No matter how you celebrate, whether you’re traveling the world or staying in bed, NHS Port Press wishes you a Happy Holidays!
