From where? From who? What? When? How? Seriously, what is this title? From is the name of a new TV show. This show isn’t just like any other show though. From is one of the best TV series you will ever watch, guaranteed.
From is about a nice family traveling North to find a satisfactory camping spot in the mountains. Everything was going smoothly until the children felt the camper begin to stop. Jim (The dad) noticed a fallen tree on the road. It was simply too big to drive around so Jim and Tabitha (The mom) decided to head back in the direction they came and try to find another route.
They continue on back the way they came, or so they thought when they stumble upon a small desolate town that they had not seen before. They talked to some townspeople who warned them not to continue driving, but Jim didn’t listen.
Before they knew it, the family was driving in circles, always returning to the same road in that same eerie town. They couldn’t escape. If only they knew what was ahead when the sunset and what the future had in store for them.
I kept the summary vague so as to not spoil this quite literally incredible show. From displays elements of constant suspense and an abundance of mystery in such an elegant way that it isn’t portrayed as overwhelming or too confusing. Believe it or not, there is also a good amount of shock factor that truly does instate shock. The way the directors and producers put everything together makes it seem as though some of the happenings in this show are maybe a little bit possible or real.
The characters are given trackable backgrounds and quirks that you will come to know and enjoy. New characters are implemented that just add even more to the plot line but at the same time they make it seem like they were always meant to be there.
Almost everything is explained by the end of the third season. However, the last episode provides vibrant proof that there will be a fourth season sometime in 2026.
From is available to watch through Apple TV and MGM+. Sadly, come the new year it was fully removed from AMC+.
