With the Super Bowl right around the corner, the Chiefs and Eagles prepare for an all-out battle of talent.
The Super Bowl: America’s #1 watched sport. Ever. But never in history have the 20 million people that watch and play, EVER, experienced a Super Bowl with the same 2 teams 3 TIMES in a row. The 3-peat: Chiefs VS Eagles.
The Chiefs have had a reputation in many different perspectives. Millions hate them because of Taylor Swift, the suspected reffing, and how many times they have won the Super Bowl in a row. But on the other hand, millions love them because of Taylor Swift, Patrick Mahomes, and even how good they have been in the past decade.
In 2023 (Super Bowl LVII), The Chiefs took on the Eagles where they would win an extremely close game with the score of 38-35 in the Chief’s favor. The Chiefs then went on a rampage of a season in 2024 where they would win the Super Bowl (Super Bowl LVIII) against the 49ers and Christian McCaffrey—making their Super Bowl streak to 2.
Now, in 2025 the Chiefs are once again in the Super Bowl! They secured a 1st place seed where they would go on to beat the Texans and the Bills to make it to the Super Bowl. Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are going head to head against their 2023 rivals in a rematch of the ages and attempt to become the first team in NFL history to complete a “3-peat”.
On Sunday, February 12th, 2023, the Chiefs would start an impeccable streak of Super Bowl Championships to become the most famous NFL team of the decade. But they aren’t alone. They sparked a rivalry in 2023 when they faced the Eagles in the Super Bowl. The Chiefs winning by ONLY 3 POINTS put all the fame in the Chiefs’ favor, none to the Eagles.
But nobody noticed how well the Eagles played and here in 2025, they are not messing around. Everyone knows this Super Bowl will be the biggest, EVER, because of the 2 teams playing and the possible 3-peat for the Chiefs. The whole country is divided 50/50 for the teams and the fan base is growing substantially due to this.
Social media has been blowing up with predictions, rivals, personal feelings toward it, and more. Whichever team wins will cause an array of emotions and opinions across platforms. The Eagles are going to take down the champs, and the Chiefs are going for an NFL record of a 3-peat in the Super Bowl.
In their legendary 14-3 season, the Philadelphia Eagles saw Saquon Barkley explode in his 7th year rushing for over 2,000 yards and falling just short of Eric Dickerson’s single-season rushing record. In his first year away from New York with the Giants, Barkley had his best season ever with the Eagles and their insane offensive line and coaching staff under Nick Sirianni.
Barkley immediately fit in with the Eagle’s scheme and in their NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders, Barkley popped a 60-yard touchdown on the Eagles’ first play from scrimmage. He ended up going for 3 touchdowns and 122 yards. They put up over 50 points against Washington and punched their ticket to their 2nd Super Bowl appearance in 3 years, ironically against the same opponent, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jalen Hurts and Saquon Barkley look to finally beat Patrick Mahomes as they haven’t lost a playoff game since January 30th, 2022 when Joe Burrow led the Bengals into Arrowhead and took down the Chiefs.
Previously, the player most widely known as the G.O.A.T. was none other than quarterback Tom Brady. Now, a new superstar quarterback has emerged: none other than 29-year-old Super Bowl MVP Patrick Mahomes. In his career, Brady won 7 championships, and now Mahomes goes for his 4th at just 29. But do the two compare?
The G.O.A.T. conversation has been going on for years, with LeBron James and Michael Jordan, but now in the NFL, we see that out of Mahomes and Brady. Although Brady is an all-time great, he had some of the most talented receivers and runningbacks, something that Mahomes has been lacking. Mahomes was given Travis Kelce, a superstar tight end, meanwhile, the rest of the offense has been mediocre at best. But in Brady’s prime, he was given Randy Moss, Rob Gronkowski, Julian Edelman, and more legendary players to help.
In the end, Brady is known as the Greatest NFL Quarterback of all time, but with the pace that Mahomes is on, he looks to be on a legendary path, on the cusp of winning his 4th Super Bowl. So in the end, only time will tell who is the better quarterback of all time, Mahomes or Brady.
