Fallout is an Amazon prime TV series that is based of the game franchise Fallout, which won an award for best game adaptation. This show takes place in Post-Apocalyptic California where there are a bunch of different factions trying to stay alive and rebuild the US.
The factions included are The Vault Dwellers, who are the ones who went underground to avoid the nukes and radiation poisoning. Their plan was to hide underground for 200 years and go out to rebuild, but there are actually secret experiments conducted on the Vault dwellers, which was the actual purpose of the Vaults.
There’s also the Brotherhood of Steel: a more military-based faction that wants to rebuild America in their powered armor suits and collect technology from before the event known as “The Great War” which created the nuclear devastation that everyone is trying to recover from. The Brotherhood overall wants to help the people of the Wasteland and secure weaponry.
The next faction is The Enclave: a faction based on brute force and what’s left of the US army. Unlike the Brotherhood of Steel, they want to take over by means of killing. They also have power armor and weapons but conduct experiments on animals and build robots all for the purpose of taking over the US under their control.
Finally, the last faction is the New California Republic (NCR) who wanted to rebuild California. But after they rebuilt their newly built city is nuked by one of the factions, so a few of the members go out to find out who did it, one of which includes a Vault Dweller named Lucy.
The Vault Dwellers went underground to protect themselves from the bombs but a bunch of raiders broke into the vault and took her dad so she ventures into the wasteland to find him.
Maximus, another main character who’s part of the faction “The Brotherhood of Steel,” was trained by the Brotherhood to become a Scribe which assists the “Knights” that wear power armor to fight to secure weaponry. But on the battlefield, his Knight dies and Maximus gets to take on the role of wearing power armor. He is trying to secure a target that is a member of the Enclave because the man that he’s hunting has a chip they are looking for.
The last character is Cooper Howard who goes by “The Ghoul” because he was mutated by the radiation. He is dug up by mercenaries after being buried alive for 200 years and he lived because of his mutations. The mercenaries dug him up to negotiate but The Ghoul kills them and goes off to search for his family.
All of the main characters have a goal in the wasteland to find or accomplish something important. They all meet in the end to claim the unlimited source of energy known as “Cold fusion,” each representing their factions to claim the source.
The Brotherhood plans to take the source from the NCR because the NCR originally had made the civilization of Shady Sands but were nuked by an unknown faction and need the source to rebuild.
It’s a fight for survival and an all out war, which makes Fallout a very interesting show that I definitely recommend that you watch!

I loved this show, takes a bit to get into but once you have all the characters you just want to enjoy the hunt. I can’t wait for the 2nd season.
