There are so many great Italian restaurants in the Northport area, but just down Pulaski Road, located at 63 Broadway in Greenlawn, Ruvo is a great place to dine with friends and family. Its superb food and close proximity to Northport makes this restaurant an amazing option when choosing where to eat.
Menu:
Ruvo has many options to choose from off their menu. Depending on the time of day you go, there may be different options as well, since Ruvo has lunch and dinner dishes. Nonetheless, there is also an “All Day Menu” in which you can order from any time of the day you visit. When I went there, I ordered the Rigatoni With Meatballs covered with Grandma D’s Sunday sauce. This was an excellent choice, and I highly recommend it. I also recommend getting the Ruvo Caesar salad as a personal appetizer. The salads come in big portions, making it well worth it. There are so many other delicious options off Ruvo’s menu, that it can be hard to choose from.
Pricing and Speed:
The prices at Ruvo can be on the higher side, but to me, it is well worth it due to the great food Ruvo offers. The speed of the staff is great, even on a busy night. I dined at Ruvo on a Saturday night, which is probably one of the busiest nights for restaurants. However, Ruvo did a great job at bringing the food out to my table. Because Ruvo has fast service, this is a great restaurant to order from for lunch leave, as it is close to Northport High School.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere at Ruvo makes this restaurant one of my favorites in the Northport area. It has a modern yet traditional look inside, something that I usually do not see at other restaurants around Long Island. The many windows in the front of the restaurant provide just the right amount of light inside. And it is never too loud, even on a crowded day.
Overall Experience:
I love to go to Ruvo. Its vast options on the menu, big portions and great food make this one of my favorite restaurants outside of Northport. And the atmosphere inside is very vibrant and charming and gives you just what you’re looking for at any restaurant. I love Ruvo in Greenlawn, and I know you will too!
