With the MLB season coming to an end, the playoffs are near and an exciting race to the playoffs begins.
Two sides of Baseball the National League and the American League see a tight race. In the American League the Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers, Houston Astros, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, and the Boston Redsox fight for playoff seeding. With an even closer MVP race between Aaron Judge and Cal Raleigh ensues. Aaron Judge the right fielder for the New York Yankees and 2-time reigning MVP continues another monster season, in fact he passed both Joe DiMaggio and Yogi Berra in home runs this season, becoming the 4th highest player on the Yankees all-time home run leaders list. In any other season he would be a clear favorite for the MVP, but Cal Raleigh the catcher for the Seattle Mariners makes things a little more interesting. With is iconic season he broke the single season home run record among catchers. His iconic season even lives up to that of Aaron Judge’s making it a tight race that will make things interesting.
Over in the National League multiple teams fight for playoff position those teams being the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Milwaukee Brewers, the Chicago Cubs, the San Diego Padres, and the New York Mets. Meanwhile the MVP race is tight in the Nation League as well. The reigning MVP winner Shohei Ohtani has had another sensational season and he prepares for another MVP season, but not if Kyle Schwarber of the Philadelphia Phillies has anything to say about it. Schwarber has had a great power season and is prepared to stop Ohtani of winning back to back awards.
As the the MLB gets ready for the Playoffs, the race to the playoffs has not slowed down, and teams will go head to head to try and find their way into the playoffs where anything is possible.
