The Galley: Making your Favorite Starbucks Drinks at Home

Starbucks is a popular coffee chain that is a part of many people’s daily routine in the Northport area. From plain cold brews to seasonal latte flavors, there’s truly something for everyone at this coffee shop. Sometimes, getting to Starbucks can be inconvenient, as is spending five dollars for a coffee. So, here are some recipes of Starbucks classics you can make right from the comfort of your own home.

Mocha Frappuccino

(Makes 16 ounces)

  • 10 ice cubes
  • 1 cup full-fat milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate sauce
  • ¼ cup

Blend ice, milk, vanilla extract, sugar, and coffee

Add chocolate sauce.

Caramel Frappuccino

(Makes 16 ounces)

  • 3 tablespoons of instant coffee
  • ½ teaspoon xanthan gum
  • 3 tablespoons of water
  • 2 cups of ice
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 6 tablespoons caramel sauce
  • Whipped creams and caramel sauce for garnish

Prepare coffee by mixing instant coffee with water

Mix xanthan gum with 2 tablespoons of water

Blend coffee roast, xanthan gum, ice, milk, caramel sauce, and ice till smooth

Top with whipped cream and caramel sauce once in a glass

Pumpkin Spice Latte

  • 1 ½ tablespoon of sugar
  • 2 tablespoon pumpkin purée
  • ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • ½ cup coffee
  • ½ cup of milk

Add ingredients into a saucepan

Stir ingredients and bring to a simmer

Take the saucepan off the heat and pour into a mug
