On this episode of Superstore, Amy and Jonah go to a managers conference and end up having the time of their lives. On the other hand, Dina and Garrett are trying to figure out how to wrap presents for customers.

Things that were great about this episode:

-I’m very happy that Amy and Jonah are getting some alone time together at this meeting because after everything they’ve been through they deserve it.

-I love Cheyenne’s and Mateos friendship-they always have good together as well as a supporting friendship that is so much fun to watch

-That scene with Garrette not knowing how to wrap a gift and defending it using actual logic was the best line of this episode tonight.

-The Amy and Jonah montage was so sweet and cute we barely got any moments of them together and happy this season so it was refreshing

-The storyline of Amy becoming manager sounds interesting and I hope it was foreshadowing they did by talking about it this episode

-Glen covering for mateo was so sweet and so true to his character

Things I that didn’t like:

-I’m not a big fan of the storyline this episode where they make Mateo being an undocumented immigrant a joke. They did handle it better than other comedy shows would have, but to most people being undocumented is not a joke, it real and it’s scary.

Superstore is a comedic show that delivers every week and this episode was no exception. I think tonight’s episode was well executed in addition to having very funny lines. If I were to change one thing about this episode, I would make the immigrant storyline more serious and not the bud of any jokes. At the end of the day, this episode was funny and cute, but needs to take serious matters seriously.
