With the 6th pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select

This has been the ongoing question every Giant’s fan has been wondering for months now. Are they going to take Dwayne Haskins, are they going to take Kyler Murray or are they going to wait another year to draft a quarterback? . Giants Quarterback Eli Manning has arrived at the end of his career. Although he is certainly not at his best right now, he brought home 2 Super Bowls for the Giants franchise and will likely be inducted into the hall of fame. The Arizona Cardinals have the 1st pick in the upcoming draft and will likely take Oklahoma Sooners quarterback Kyler Murray.

After a terrible overall year for Arizona, going 3 and 13, their rookie quarterback Josh Rosen was not able to get the job done, throwing 14 interceptions and 11 touchdowns. If the Giants really want Kyler Murray they would likely trade up with Arizona in the draft to be able to get him. Dwayne Haskins didn’t do so well at the NFL combine, thus making the Giants reconsider if they should take him in hopes he can step in and turn the franchise around. After the Giants lost multiple defensive players, including Landon Collins, Eli Apple and Oliver Vernon, they might want to use their draft picks to completely restructure their defense. In my opinion, I think the Giants should take Linebacker Devin White from LSU. He had three great seasons at LSU and the Giants are in dire need of a tactical/strong pass rusher. The Giants might also want to consider taking a really strong/consistent O-Linemen with the 17th pick so that Eli can stay in the pocket a little longer in order to find open receivers and complete more passes. Although there are many options for the Giants in the draft, I think they shouldn’t rush getting a quarterback this year and hold off until next year’s draft.
