I guess the main thing preoccupying my life right now is the HOTA Summer Assignment because I didn’t do it for the entire summer and I’m finishing it this week. And I’m going to finish it fine, but it’s a lot of work. I guess it’s causing me stress. I was more stressed last week when I thought, “Oh my God, I’m not going to get this done!” But now I’m fine and making fine time. I hope I do well on it! History is my favorite subject, but I don’t like American history. I prefer Global history, specifically Ancient history. I like the Egyptians a lot. I just don’t find American history particularly interesting. It’s not a “dislike,” it’s more of an “interest” thing. People are always like, “Why [don’t you like it]? It’s so interesting!” And I’m not saying it doesn’t have value. I guess the HOTA assignment is causing me stress, but I was more stressed last week when I thought, “Oh my God, I’m not going to get this done!” But now I’m fine and making fine time. I hope I do well on it!
