Walking around the school, it is easy to notice a number of our fashionable peers. For those who wish to liven their wardrobe, these answers could give us some insight on where to shop and what to choose, both mainstream and off the beaten path. Some wished to remain anonymous, but their contribution is just as important nonetheless.

Where do you like to shop?

Olivia Defeo: My all time favorite store has to be Free People. I really like the bohemian, free spirited, hippie vibes that the store gives off. I like to be as comfortable and relaxed as possible, but still look fun and fashionable.

Angel Canales: I like to shop at thrift stores, and I also like to shop online. I really like the Salvation near the school, as well as the Goodwill on Larkfield.

Ezza Park: I tend to shop at the Salvation Army near Larkfield, also I find that Target actually has some pretty good stuff too.

Skyla Fabbricante: Probably Graffiti. I like to go to the Graffiti in Huntington, yeah.

Anonymous: I really like my mom’s clothes, and I like to go to Garage a lot, but a lot of my wardrobe comes from my mom’s closet.

Jackson Schmidt: I mainly thrift all my clothes. Mainly for convenience I go to the Goodwill in Commack, but anytime I can get out to the city usually they have really nice clothes, and nice variety as well. The South Shore has tons of good thrift stores as well. Besides thrifting, I like to get stuff from Jaded because they have really unique pieces, and they really add some pop and energy to my fit.

Anonymous 2: I strictly shop at thrift stores, I primarily like the Salvation by the train station. I also like the Savers on Larkfield.

Where do you get your inspiration?

Olivia Defeo: I definitely get the 60’s and 70’s inspiration, and I have to credit my dad, because he is always buying me clothes from Free People, and he has such a good sense of style, since he also grew up in the 60’s and 70’s.

Angel Canales: My biggest inspiration is probably my dad in his twenties, like laid back yet still fashionable.

Ezza Park: I actually get a lot of my inspiration from Tiktok and Pinterest, I like the way you can save ideas and categorize them.

Skyla Fabbricante: I like streetwear, and more kinda laid back clothes, while still being more edgy.

Anonymous: For my style inspiration, I really like Clueless.

Jackson Schmidt: I really couldn’t tell you, I guess my sense of style develops on my own comfort, and not dressing in sweatpants.

Anonymous 2: I really like the 1960’s, like old people.
