Interview of the Week: John McGrath

Carlee Ferrara, Contributor

This week’s Port Press Interview of the Week is with John McGrath! John is a junior who enjoys music. He is a rank leader for the Northport Tiger Marching Band, and is a member of debate club as well as Port Press. I was assigned to ask John 5 questions, and below are his answers!

Q: How does it feel to publish your first article?

A: Don’t ask me that question, it’s dumb and stupid.

Note: At the time of this interview, John had yet to publish his first article.

Q: Only teasing. Would you rather speak to animals, or be able to speak every language possible?

A: I’d rather speak every language possible because there’s so many places I could get with that. There’s so many things I could do.

Q: Do you think you’ve ever seen a paranormal event happen?

A: No, because ghosts aren’t real. The only thing that is real is your brain, and your brain likes to make everything up.

Q: What do you think dogs dream about?

A: I think dogs dream about assorted things that they like. Peanut butter.

Q: Who do you main in Super Smash Bros, and why?

A: Captain Falcon, because he’s so cool. And he’s really fast so that’s fun. But in melee I play Falco, because he’s so awesome and not as lame as Fox.

Q: Final question. Do you think you’d like living underwater if you suddenly became a merman? Or would it be too scary?

A: That would be sick, because then I could talk to Sebastian the lobster.

Q: Anything else you’d like to say?

A: No, there’s nothing left.

That’s the Interview of the Week for Port Press! Thanks for checking in, and be sure to stay tuned for the interview that will be uploaded next week!
