Hey everyone! I’m letting you know right now that this is me going on a bit of a rant, so if you don’t feel like “listening” to me do that, you should go read one of my other articles. But now that we’ve got that out of the way…
I’ve been so swamped with homework lately, it’s ridiculous! I’ve had to miss my BSA Scout meeting two weeks in a row because I had too much homework to do, and there have been multiple days where I worked until at least 9:30. I might also miss my Sea Scouts meeting later because of homework.
If I do, that’s now two weeks in a row that I wasn’t able to make it to either of my Scout groups. It’s crazy! I suppose I should be grateful that I don’t have any AP European History homework tonight, affectionately known as Euro, because I also have to pack for my trip this weekend.
I’ve had so much to do these past couple of weeks, and I’m not even close to being done yet. The first week off from school is going to be such a relief, I can’t wait. But even then I’ll still have work to do.
I post weekly videos on my Youtube channel (Yu-Gi-Oh! Revisions – go subscribe! Shameless self-plug, sorry), so I’ll have to do that, plus I’ll do any schoolwork that I can. Take my advice, guys – always do any schoolwork as soon as you possibly can. Never delay it if at all possible, because then you’re stressed out trying to get it done on time. Plus, if you do it early, you have time to fix it if you need to.
I’ll also try to get as much of the scripts done for Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V V.2 (sorry, that’s me plugging again). And that’s not even all of my projects. I’m also writing a book series and the plot for a Pokémon fan game, but that depends on when I get ideas for the stories.
But back to the ridiculous amount of schoolwork. There’s been a rather large amount of tests and quizzes lately across all of my classes. Thankfully, I’m pretty sure I did rather well on all of them.
There was also that DBQ for AP Euro, which took for-ever! It was due on a Wednesday but was assigned a week before, and I didn’t remember what the prompt was. Unfortunately, I kept forgetting to ask the teacher about it, so the assignment was late. But that’s not even the half of it.
I finally remembered to ask the teacher and we set up a meeting, but the teacher wasn’t there. I’m not sure if he forgot or mixed up the location (even though I reminded him about both things after class 8th period), but he didn’t show.
So, we talked in class the next day and we agreed to email over the weekend. He never emailed me, despite me reminding him via email, and we set up another meeting a couple of days later. He actually showed up that time, so I went home with full knowledge of what I was supposed to do.
Then, when working on the assignment later that night, I discovered that I could have done the assignment much, much earlier because the prompt was literally in the packet with the documents! Ugh, I’m such an idiot sometimes. I didn’t even notice that the inside cover of the packet had words on it! And then there’s the fact that I somehow missed the writing on the board in English class, so I didn’t know when my picture day was, but then the teacher told me that the notice had been on the board for a week! I’m so bad at noticing things sometimes…
Anyway, see you next time, mina!
