On Monday, October 30, the third period Early Child Education class marched their students through the halls of Northport High School on a hunt for some sweet rewards!
The costumed crew traveled far and wide, led by their crayon box captain, Ms. I., and her crayon helpers, in the search for sugar. The little rapscallions, aided by their mostly non-costumed helpers, managed to coax a large haul of booty out of the rivals they encountered. Thankfully they only took over part of the school, or they might have taken all the treats in the building!
They gathered so much candy that everyone went home with bags of treasure that were at least half their size, though their captain managed to convince them to wait to devour the loot until they’d returned to their home islands later that day.
The treasure bags had been designed by the crew themselves at an earlier date, but it’s doubtful that they knew that the bags were for the treasure hunt. The captain, crew, and all the helpers seemed to be having a blast running wild and ransacking the school, so when it gets to be this time of year again, you might want to watch out, NHS. They might be coming back.
Author’s note: Sorry for writing this with a pirate theme, even though there weren’t any pirate costumes. I guess all the One Piece I’ve been watching lately has left me with pirates on the brain. Also, in case you were wondering, everyone really was very well behaved.
