It’s the end of September and it’s finally starting to feel like it in Northport. Regardless of shape, size, and body type, these fall trends are guaranteed to look good on everyone.

From bright neon plaid shirts to oversized plaid coats, plaid has and always will remain a fall staple. A trend from last spring and fall, plaid trench coats and blazers will continue to be stocked at stores like Forever 21, Urban Outfitters,

and Nordstrom to bring back the “Girl Boss” street style. Pair a plaid blazer or trench coat with something more casual like straight leg jeans, a t-shirt, and white sneakers to include both a put-together and chill vibe in your outfit.

Plaid and floral. Floral and stripes. Leopard and check. You can have it all… if you do it right! If you’re apprehensive about this whole mixing-obnoxious-prints thing, start small with a handbag or a pair of statement shoes. A pair of leopard mules could be the perfect yet subtle pairing with a plaid trench coat (mixing prints and trends!).

I know, I know. One of the following probably pops into your head at the thought of animal print: the early 2000s, The Cheetah Girls, and Hilary Duff; however, street style stars, off-duty models, talented designers, and bloggers have changed the game for leopard and cheetah print. One look onto Zara’s website and you will instantly see exactly why various animal prints are trending. Sleek and sophisticated but also youthful all at once. Heels, boots, handbags, fanny packs, and dusters are all simple ways to incorporate bold animal prints into your fall wardrobe.
