Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share with you how much fun I’m having in my jewelry class. Since the semester changed, my ceramics class switched out with Jewelry, and it’s going great so far. I’ve made a pair of feather earrings, a pendant, and a ring, and I’m currently working on another ring. They’ve all turned out great!

We get to use the torch and solder pieces together almost right off the bat. When using the torch, we have to make sure that we don’t have anything dangling and that our hair is tied back so we don’t accidentally light anything on fire. So far I’ve only worked with wire, but I heard the teacher talking about sheet metal, so we might be working with that next. Regardless, I’m excited for the next project!
