On February 11th, the two teams that worked the hardest to get there clashed for Super Bowl 58. The Kansas City Chiefs led by Patrick Mahomes, and the San Francisco 49ers led by Brock Purdy battled it out for the Lombardi Trophy.
The ads are one of the most well-known parts of the NFL Super Bowl. The ads for the Super Bowl are so well known because they are worked on so much and perfected to the edge, so the viewers are entertained. Also, the ads are made with iconic signs and pictures, and the amazing quality, unpredictability, humor, and the use of special effects. A large portion of the fans watching the big game are there for the halftime show. Usher performed this year. Fans looked forward to seeing him perform some of his best songs. Also, many fans watching the Super Bowl wanted to see Taylor Swift, who is dating the star tight end of the Chiefs, Travis Kelce.
At the beginning of the season, the couple Swift and Kelce went public with their relationship. Although many thought it was great, the cold-hearted football fans said they had enough of it. They’ve called it footballers vs Swifties. Football fans have banded together and put their trust in Brock Purdy, the Quarterback for the 49ers to take down Swift and the Chiefs. People have been posting on social media platforms including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and others, showing the star players of the 49ers getting ready to take down the Swifties.
Both teams took the hardest test to get to this game. Although the Chiefs had to play one more team, the road to get there wasn’t any harder for the 49ers. They had the first-round bye and watched their biggest opponents get sent home. When suiting up to play the Packers in the Divisional Round, they didn’t see much competition until Jordan Love shocked them in the first three-quarters of the game. Thanks to making a swift comeback, the 49ers were barely able to slip by the Packers. They then went on to play the Detroit Lions. After taking a 24-7 lead at the half, the Lions were confident going into the second half. The 49ers somehow got past them after having a huge comeback, punching their ticket to the Super Bowl with a 34-31 win. The Chiefs had to play 3 hard-fought games to get where they are now. While playing the Dolphins in the wild card, they had to fight through -4 degree weather. Patrick Mahomes found no problem in defeating them 26-7. The biggest game of the year was set to come in Buffalo against the Bills. Although it seemed like overtime would come, Buffalo kicker Tyler Bass missed the game-tying field goal. This resulted in a Chiefs 27-24 win, sending them to play the number one seeded Baltimore Ravens. Although competition was high, Mahomes and company had minimal trouble in beating the Ravens, 17-10. This victory led the Chiefs right to the big stage, setting up for Super Bowl 58, the 2-time MVP and 2-time Super Bowl Champion, Patrick Mahomes vs the former last pick in the draft, Brock Purdy.
