I hope everyone had an incredible winter break as well as a bright, and exciting New Years!
As we proceed into the very beginning of our new year, we tend to create ideals. Things that we want to improve on, change, implement, chase, find, and so on. We call these resolutions. And we as the people of our earth make them every year. But sometimes the expectations we set for ourselves aren’t reasonable, so I have created this nice and quick article on Interesting Facts about our new year that may give you a broader, and more interested mindset on our year!
The 2026 year when it comes to cosmic studies is seen as, “the year of the Fire Horse”. Starting February 17th, the Chinese zodiac known as the “Fire Horse” starts it’s extremely powerful cycle that occurs once every 60 years. It is also known as the “Double Fire” year due to the Horse naturally belonging to the fire element according to Chinese history. With that, this also states that this year is about speed and momentum. Projects that haven’t been sparked or have been on pause will suddenly accelerate forward in progress and change the world. Some key symbols are, Lucky Colors- Red, Gold, and bright Green. Lucky numbers are, Favorable Numbers- 2, 3, and 7. And finally, the element water is known as the “missing element” for this year because within all of the upbeat, intense, powerful flames, there needs to be something to balance everything out.
Upon the date August 12th, 2026, there will be a Total Solar Eclipse for our Earth. Starting in Siberia Russia, and ending in Northern Spain. For across the United States at about 1:07pm to 2:38pm the eclipse will be visible, but wear eclipse glasses!!
On July 4th this year, the United States celebrates 250 years of independence as it is the 250th Anniversary of this incredible country’s existence!
For sports this year the Winter Olympics, the Men’s T20 Cricket World Cup, and the World Baseball Classic are all on. The Olympics are taking place in Milan Italy!
These are just some of many different aspects, facts, and events that take place during our New Year that hopefully intrigued you all! Throughout this new year, try to take it easy but don’t give up. Chase your dreams but don’t beat yourself up for not reaching them. But most importantly don’t give up, and have confidence you can do anything. Because after this year, it’s the same concept but it is up to YOU to make a difference!
