On February 13th, during the first period, a new protest was organized. With the previous protest on February 6th speaking out against ICE, many people are wondering why there’s been lots of protests at the start of the year, and what this protest is about.

Pro Ice

With the rise of politics, and ICE raids around the United States, many people in America have been separated with different opinions of the situation. The Protest on February 13th spoke out for ICE, defending the agency in America, and overall, supporting ICE agents that are in America. This is because conservatives strongly support the idea of ICE, and hold a more positive view of the Trump Administration and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, as stated in the past article. According to Conservatives, ICE agents protect Americans, with studies showing that 79% of Americans support the agency.

The Protest

During the first period on February 13th, many students have worn ‘Make America Great Again’ hats, hold American flags, or Trump 2025 flags. The protest was held outside for the remainder of the first period, then brought inside.

All students are entitled to their own opinion, and these walkouts are a great example of that. Students exercise their rights to have their own judgement on society, which is important to understand during the NHS Walkouts.
